Guitar Synth Performance

I was excited to join Colorado Modular Synth Society members OnPrem, MANMADEMADMAN, and Jacob Porter for a night of Modular Electronica last week. Here's part of my set that got into chill / experimental territory - with some "video postcards" along the way. On my hybrid setup I route the Jamstik MIDI guitar to an OXI Coral in Eurorack and the Hydrasynth. A Conductive Labs MRCC handles the MIDI routing (and adds some program changes from the laptop). https://youtu.be/rE0Ch-1f4B0?si=Cx4w0ZRvghuhkY-o

First time doing a soundtrack: Detour

A French friend of mine in Germany is a director named Arthury Henry. He approched me about doing the soundtrack to his short film called Detour. It's a dystopian future, sci-fi story. I used a bunch of tape manipulation methods and combinations of effects untis and noise makers to essentially play the soundtrack live with the movie and edit it later. Also, Dutch violinist Karin Van Kooten added meloncholic textures on top giving it a pretty somber feel.

Released on tape by LITA (Dalian, China)

The share of preference tends to shift as people discover new models with smarter sound processing, rechargeable options, and improved durability. Comfort-driven features such as soft dome fittings and lightweight casings also influence which devices users gravitate toward.

Paragraph 2Changes in hearing aid share are also impacted by awareness campaigns, peer recommendations, and advancements that make devices easier to adopt. Younger adults are increasingly open to wearing hearing aids due to the introduction of modern, sleek designs that resemble wireless earbuds. Older adults often prioritize reliability, speech clarity, and minimal maintenance. These combined factors shape the evolving share of device popularity across diverse user groups, highlighting how technological improvements and…

SHOW THIS SUNDAY!

I am so looking forward to the next show! Metamyther brings a 6 camera mega-music video, and Ed Sweeney (Navicore) shows a masterclass in Serge Synthesis. Don't miss this. It took a lot of work from all three of us, and the interviews are wonderful as well. Hope to see you there! Set a reminder!
