Mr. Hayes does it again, and by again, I mean his 65th release on BandCamp.
Yes, Gary is a prolific artist in every way. His obsession with the highest level outdoor photography is beyond remarkable and his remote synth performances on the Blue Mountains around his home in Mount Victoria, Australia. Yeah, pretty gorgeous stuff.

So here we are with Fear of Sound, A Berlin School Odyssey. And although I was never invited to a cool factory rave, this made me feel like I was part of something....something tribal...hypnotic.
Now, am I going to don a pokimon backpack and neon facepaint and go full 90's? Well, no, but this seriously has me moving. And I don't dance, so that's good.
Fear of Sound features five tracks, all in the 25min range. You get fantastic production, great beats and melodies mixed with plenty of textures and bleeps and bloops among the musicality that really sets Gary's work apart. Everything I've heard of his has been remarkable. And as mentioned, with a discography like this, there's a LOT.
It would be a mistake to not share at least one of Gary's gorgeous remote performances.
This is one of my faves. A lovely ambient jam and the drone shots...wow.
Gary's photography can be seen here on his website, along with all the social links to reach out.
Please take some time to give a listen to Fear of Sound, and when possible, please consider supporting artists by purchasing their music or merch from BandCamp.
