I've loved synthesis and sound design for a quite a long time. While I was in college, a I used to borrow the key to the synth lab and experiment and record all night long. This is where I first got my hands on an EML-101, still my favorite synth. They also had a 2600 and an Emu Modular system. In addition, there was a Serge Modular, but this belonged to the professor, and was off-limits to students (understandably so, he didn't want us re-patching it on him). I also started accompanying the improv dance classes (with found objects, wind instruments, synths, bass guitar, percussion, etc...) The combination of movement and sound will always bring me the most inspiration. Given that, in more recent times, I've been experimenting with the Erogenous Tones Structure.
